HOW I CAN HELP YOU

Online therapy offers a flexible, accessible way to explore your inner world, wherever you are. Whether you’re navigating emotional challenges, feeling stuck in repeating patterns, or simply seeking a better understanding of yourself, therapy can help. And with the right online therapist, it can feel just as connected, grounded, and effective as work done face to face.

This is a space to talk, reflect, and explore what’s going on beneath the surface, all from the privacy and comfort of your own environment. Whether you’re in London, elsewhere in the UK, or travelling internationally, online therapy ensures high-quality psychotherapy treatment is never out of reach.

ONLINE vs IN PERSON THERAPY

Both formats offer effective psychotherapy and counselling treatment — but each brings slightly different qualities.

In-person therapy may offer a greater sense of containment for some people, particularly if the therapeutic setting itself contributes to a feeling of safety or focus. The physical transition from everyday life into a therapeutic space can also offer a helpful boundary between the external world and internal exploration.

Online therapy, on the other hand, allows for greater flexibility and consistency, especially for those with demanding schedules, frequent travel, or limited access to local services. For many individuals, online therapy removes logistical barriers that may otherwise delay or disrupt their therapeutic process. Crucially, research shows that online therapy is no less effective than face-to-face therapy.

You might choose online therapy if:

  • You have a demanding schedule

  • You travel often

  • You prefer the discretion or ease of home-based sessions

  • You live outside of central London or overseas

INITIAL CONSULTATION

The purpose of this session is to explore your therapy requirements and how I might be able to help you. It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about therapy. As part of my commitment to good practice, during this first session I will be taking a personal history from you, which will include taking your GP details. If we are both happy to proceed, we would agree a number of sessions to begin with, usually eight. These first few sessions allow us to explore what you wish to work through.

YOUR SESSIONS

There are no right or wrong answers as to how many sessions there should be. The length of the therapy is tailored to you and what you are looking for from your online therapy. We would regularly review together the number of sessions and your goals of the therapy.

Therapy for individuals is a regular weekly commitment. Online therapy sessions are held via zoom. If we both feel that my services could be beneficial to you we would agree a regular weekly time, this would be your appointment time. As this time is reserved specifically for you there is a cancellation notice period of 5 days.

All sessions are paid before each online session by bank transfer. Missed or cancelled sessions without the 5 days notice given, are paid in full by bank transfer. All sessions are 50 minutes from your appointment time.
